The knowledge, experience and tools we have developed over the years are now becoming an infrastructure that enables local authorities to implement inclusive education on a large scale – not just in one school, but in an entire education system. We accompany the change at all levels: from the authority’s leadership and school principals to the classroom teacher – with pedagogy and practical tools, training and support for teams, strengthening the sense of belonging and building the necessary infrastructure so that the change can last over time.

In the 2017 school year, the Inclue model will be launched for the first time in the Jerusalem Education Administration, in partnership with the Jerusalem Municipality, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Finance. In the first phase, the initiative will encompass approximately 6,500 boys and girls in 57 schools in the city, and is expected to gradually expand to the entire municipal education system.

Jerusalem is the first step in a broader vision – to make inclusive education the way the education system operates in Israel, and to create a society in which human diversity is an asset, each and every one has a place, and we can all bring ourselves to our fullest potential.
