This is the essence of inclusive education: empowering every child to bring their full selves, thereby strengthening us all as a society.

Our story

'Inclu - Inclusive Schools and Kindergartens' is a registered NGO established in October 2017 to advance inclusive education across Israel.

Inclu works to ensure that every child in Israel receives an equal opportunity to feel a deep sense of belonging, develop their unique voice, and access the conditions necessary for optimal growth and learning. Operating within the public education system to remain accessible to all, Inclu establishes, guides, and operates Israel's network of inclusive schools and kindergartens, leading the implementation of inclusive education across the public school system.

In October 2017, the Inclu association was established by a group of people who set themselves the goal of promoting the concept of inclusive education in public schools in Israel. We work to ensure that every child in Israel gets an equal opportunity to feel a part, to develop his unique voice and to receive the challenges he needs for optimal learning and growth. And all this, within the framework of public education, which is accessible to all.

Inclu (NPO) establishes and operates Israel's network of inclusive schools and kindergartens, leading the integration of inclusive education within the public education system. Our mission is to create a world where everyone is given an equal opportunity to fully express themselves, and our path to achieving this is through inclusive education.

In 2018, we founded the first inclusive schools in Israel through partnerships with the Ministry of Education and local authorities. Today, our network includes 31 public inclusive schools and kindergartens across the country, representing the full spectrum of Israeli society: religious, secular, ultra-Orthodox, Arab, and Druze alike. We serve 5,607 children, both with and without diagnosed special needs. We believe that everyone is special and that all students can benefit from learning together in a diverse group, as human diversity is an asset.

We focus on three core areas:

Establishment, Guidance, Training, and Operation of inclusive schools and kindergartens

Developing methodologies, pedagogical tools, concepts, training, and practical field applications for inclusive education

Shaping and Advancing Educational Systems and Policy through direct partnerships with the Ministry of Education and local municipalities

Today, the network includes 38 public inclusive schools and kindergartens across the country, representing every segment of Israeli society: Religious, Secular, Ultra-Orthodox, Arab, and Druze alike. We educate 6,630 children with and without diagnosed special needs.

Inclusive education: A new frontier of learning
